  After his wifes death he moved to Dowell, Edwards Co., Kan./ Recorded: 1891 His wife became ill and 15 Jan, 1883 he sold everything and moved her to Siloam Springs, Ark. in an attempt to restore her health. But her health continued to decline. she had a great desire to return to the place of her childhood, thus Homer brought her home to Champaign Co., ILL where she later died.
