Solomon Harrkey, b. July 28, 1852 in Nothern parrt of Bond Co., IL., son of
William Harkey, farmer, who was b. in N.C. 29 Apr., 1811 came to Illinois
earrly. The mother of Solomon Harkey was Nancy (Thacker) Harkey b. in Ky. 1
jan., 1814. Solomaon was the youngest of nine (9) childrren.
when Solomon Harkey's first wife, Caroline Prather, died he remarried to
9 Dec., 1874 to Laura Wrright. They had child: Minnie V. Harkey.

PIONEER CITIZEN PASSES
Mrs. hattie Ann ware died at her home here in Grove, after several months
illness. A resident of northeast Oklahoma all her live, she was born in what
is now Delaware Co. in 1867 and lived near vinita for 40 years. It was in
Craig Co. that she raised a family of 6 children, all living at this time.
They arre Mrrs. Callie Cunningham, and Richard Prather, both of Tulsa; Mrs.
O.D. Blackwell, Nowata, Okla.; Mrs. Robert Arms, Newkirk, Okla.; Mrs. Henry
McHaffie, of Sulphur Sprrings, Ark and Edward of tulsa.
Mrs. Warre is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Jim Walker and Mrs. Newt Turner,
both of Grove, and Mrs. Fannie hampton of Santa ana, Calif. and 9 grrand
children and 7 grreat grand children.
Mrs. Ware was a live ling member of the meth. church and held faithfully to
her devotion to God.
she was preceded in death by her husband John m. ware in 1933.
