Note: They moved from Magoffin Co., Ky. to Sullivan Co., Mo. in the fall of 1867.
In 1879 they moved to South West Mo. and bought land in McDonald Co., Mo.
near Pineville where they lived and farmed for a number of years.
While living near Pineville, a man was hired to work on the farm mostly for
his room and board. Being a large family, the boys slept in the bunk-house
with the hired man. The hired man, after working for almost a year, was found
to have Tuberculosis. All of the family was exposed to T.B.
In 1893 Isaac moved his family to ;the Indian Territory (Okla.) where they
operated a large farm near the village of Grove. Here thir son Samuel Edgar
died in 1904 of T.B.
Their sons James and John had come west to Colfax, Whitman co., Wa. in 1890.
Their son and daughter, Clarence and Jemima came to Sandpoint, Bonner Co.,
Idaho around 1900. They had urged their parents to come west. Clarence had
died of T.B. ;in Priest River, Bonner Co., Idaho in 1903.
In 1910 they moved to Sandpoint, Bonner Co., Idaho and Isaac Henry Prater
passed away, a few months after arriving in Sandpoint, of T.B.
Rhoda Priscilla had two children at home, Mary Elizabeth and Harry.
Mary Elizabeth met and married George Rose in 1911 and passed away later that
year of T.B.
A mountain which is located on the east side of Priest River, Idaho is named
Prater Mountain in honor of Isaac Prater.

Note: George was an Engineer and worked for Farmac Manufacturing. He helped design
the brake in the 6000ft. deep holes for testing atomic bombs outside
Las Vegas, NV. He worked for this company for 47 yrs. retiring in 1976.
He also worked for Sinclair Refinery, Western Union, and OCS.
Religion: First Assembly of God; deacon and trustee for 10 yrs, Junior Men's
Sunday School Class and men's Ministries of the church.
First Baptized in Methodist Church in 1930.
It was determined from notations in his Bible that he had read the
Bible over 50 times!
At the memeorial service for George it was indicated that his preferred Bible
verse was the 104 Psalms.
A duet was sung: "How beautiful heaven must be"
Education: Lowell Grade School and Washington High School - Coffeyville, Kan.
He was well liked by people and he enjoyed people. Always very caring of his
wife.
